Well, uh, guys, guess he’s officially “off the market” now.

It seems only logical to wish them peace and long life
I’m jealous of anyone who gets to live with that voice, but I’ll try to be happy for them all the same.
*"–the reception was unexpectedly disrupted when Takei, whooped up on Midori cocktails, tore his shirt off and started chasing guests with a fencing foil." *
Here’s the really poignant thing: The Japanese American National Museum occupies an old neighborhood where Takei once lived as a child. On that spot, in 1941, a four-year-old Takei and his family were taken to internment camps and confined during WWII. Now, some sixty years later, they are not only free, but able to wed as they please. It’s a tribute to how far we’ve come in such a relatively short period of time.
Hey, that’s great news! Here’s wishing them both oceans of happiness!
Isn’t that wonderful?
I love George Takai, not because of Star Trek, but because of the Howard Stern show. He’s got the kindest heart.
You know, sometimes I get all depressed about the state of humankind.
And then I read stuff like this. It makes me feel all hopeful again.
He’s amazingly open about his life, isn’t he? A conversation in that wonderful voice gives the nastiest topic on the Stern show a classy twist
Congrats to the handsome couple.
Akira my good man…
Congratulations.
Beautiful.
That actually made me just a bit choked up.
Possible toasts for the reception.
Let’s see what he’s got.
Helm’s discretion.
He’s the best thing on the show. I am so happy for the both of them.
Star Trek cast members Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koening were the attendants.
Happiness and it’s about time!
That made me smile!
Wonderful.
See how the mindset of an older guy stuck in his ways reveals itself? I read the thread title and thought instinctively, “Married? I thought he was gay?”
May they both live long and prosper! (I saw Takei a while back on the William Shatner roast. He was very funny and seemed lke a genuinely nice guy.)
Good on them. May they have many happy years together.
I didn’t know that; that makes me even happier for them.
Chiming in a bit late, but here’s all kinds of wishes that they have a long, happy and healthy life together. Love knows no gender.
