I admit to being one of the trendy kids who’s all in to 70’s garage-punk and all of the modern music that’s been so heavily influenced by that sound, but at least I don’t spend hundreds of dollars trying to look like I bought all of my clothes at New York thrift shops ;).

I love music of all types, but great rock n’ roll has this ability to completely remove me from all the troubles that are following me around, and make me just smile and rock out. It moves me, man. I’ll give mine, then you give your favorite “f*ck all that, it’s time to rock!” songs, k?

Funny that you mention TV Eye by Iggy Pop. There’s actually a great band that just recently came out of LA called The TV Eyes, fronted by underground songster Jason Falkner and Roger J. Manning, Jr. (Beck’s keyboardist). They definitely qualify as Crazy Go Nuts…in fact, I think they all graduated from CGNU with honors. Imagine if instead of coming out in Britain in the 80s, Duran Duran started up in the early 2000’s in LA.
I know. It excites me too.
