Good riddance, Toronto - Hello, Surfer dudes...

I used to commute from Van Nuys to Pasadena and it isn’t bad. (at least going that direction)

Welcome to LA Mr and Mr Daffy! (Yo, Asimovian…time for you to plan another fest!)

Your husband is a braver man than me! I used to commute in Northern California, and although it was only 20 miles or so, I used to have to leave 1 1/2 to 2 hours early because I never knew what traffic would be like…

One of the good things about Toronto was living downtown… My car got used maybe once every two weeks - I could walk or do everything by subway… Then again, I didn’t have a job to go to.

One of our reasons for renting is to actually get to really know different areas… When we first decided to buy in SF many years ago, I was sure i would never live anywhere outside the city… and ended up falling in love with Alameda…

So who knows, I could end up in another part of LA… and with prices on houses crashing, we’ll have more choices of areas we can buy in as time goes on… We could live in a bungalow on the beach eventually!

Hehehehe… I might be Daffy, but I prefer being the only Gay in the Village… (Maybe that’s why I don’t want to live in WeHo!)

Good to hear about the commute being doable…
