Good Samaritan charities?

Are there any charities that help with expenses or scholarships, etc. specifically for people who have given their life in the aid of others, even strangers?

An example- the man who jumps in the river to save drowning child, saves child, but drowns in the attempt? Leaves a widow, a couple of kids behind with not only the personal loss, but perhaps a financial loss as well?

One that comes to mind is the Carnegie Hero Fund, whose mission is “to recognize persons who perform acts of heroism in civilian life in the United States and Canada, and to provide financial assistance for those disabled and the dependants of those killed helping others.” But I am sure there are others as well.
