What are some good sites for getting live webcam feeds from cools spots?
I found this one from the 18th hole at Pebble Beach looking back at Carmel beach, but it keeps timing out every 15 seconds or so.
Been googling a bit, but not coming up with anything that is really useful-- like a comprehensive listing or some thing easy to navigate. I realize there must be millions around the world, but is there any good way to find one without just starting from scratch in google?
And, of course, every search turns up any number of “interior webcams” for those in need of a little extra-curricular stimulation. Not what I’m looking for at the moment, though.
Just as I checked this one, a group of 4 people were waiting for traffic to clear. They then did the recreation thing while someone took their picture. Other folks with cameras were hanging around. Very original.
BTW: The crossing was rumored to have been moved but die-hard fans analyzing photos have shown otherwise.
Duckster’s link proved completely useless. The nearest webcam to my location is actually hundreds of miles away, not the 6 they think. Doing a search on a state name turned up webcams in a state on the opposite side of the country. Incredibly poor geography.
