Show Us Where You Are

I am just down the canyon from Park City, Utah.

Let’s see where you are. (You can use http://www.earthcam.com to find a camera near you.)

I’m just outside of Oslo, Norway.

The heart of the city is Karl Johansgate, not “Carl Johan” as the folks at EarthCam decided to spell it

Here’s Jacksonville, FL.

A bit east you find the beaches - a lovely November day.

just about here:

in fact this is just about the view from my friend’s office window.

mine is a bit less grand.

Here’s a link to a cam that’s supposed to show deformed frogs at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Spiffy.

For your more mainstream webcam viewing, here’s the view from atop the mighty Basic Sciences and Biomedical Engineering Building at the U ov M.

I’m 10 minutes from the I-74 bridge that connects Iowa and Illinois over the mighty Mississippi River.

A little closer (as in one 1/2 blocks) to where I am right this minute. In fact, I saw my office building in one of the shots (the view changes ever few seconds). Yes, it is cold and snowy - I LOVE IT!

Salt Lake City

owlstretchingtime - I can be sure but if those stairs and tunnel is near Big Ben, I think I have a photo of myself near that very spot.

five minutes brisk walk through the city center from this cam.

yes they are smack bang next to the palace of Westminster on the Embankment. I could go out and wave! But with the current security measures around here I may well attract rather too much attention.

I am currently sitting about one block from here. Only if it were pointed the other direction would you see the building I’m in, though. I can see the camera from the window.

I’m here, Canmore, Alberta, Canada. I’m about a two minute walk from the actual camera, but the view is to the Three Sisters, which is about a 10 minute drive, at least.

That’s the view I have from the front of my house. It’s quite spectacular to see first thing every morning.

Friday Harbor

I work about two blocks to the right of the camera, and I live about three quarters of a mile to the left.

I’m about a 5 min drive from here. This road construction has created no small amount of difficulty for the las year and a half. They are rebuilding the I-25/I-40 exchange.

Only 216 days to go.

Well, this is sorta pointless, but the other Ann Arbor cameras weren’t working.

Here’s the now-empty University of Michigan stadium! Aka “The Big House.” Woohoo!

If you’ve got some patience or a high-speed internet connection, you can take a VR tour of some parts of UVA here.

Pretty much right about here:

Polar Bears at the Toledo Zoo. You can watch 'em sleep.

Best I can do for Omaha, is the streaming webcam on the Creighton University campus. It’s either that or the Intellicast satellite weather.

I’m about 5 miles from here, just a couple of blocks north of due east.

Here.

or, just around the corner from the first one.

Oh look, they’ve got the pretty Christmas lighting out. And it’s not even December yet.

Unfortunately I’m about 5 miles from either of them.

Wamego is here. This is the intersection of Hwy 24 and Lincoln (Main Street). It’s pretty busy this time of day. Hey! I think I just saw my dad drive by!
