He just called and he’s doing ok for a guy with only one usable arm. They found the shoulder and put a pin in it, so it can’t get away again.
I wonder if rjk remembers what he was dreaming about when he dislocated his arm? Crocodile wrestling, perhaps?

Well, the shoulder is done. It still hurts, but not too bad. The big problem is that I’ve got a pillow as big as my chest under that arm, and they’re telling me six weeks! When the home-care person comes tomorrow I’ll have to go buy some sweat pants (I can do up the button on my baggy jeans one-handed but they tend to slide down over my hips - elastic is better), and maybe a poncho or something that will fit over the arm. I’ll be eating out a lot too.

I am so sorry that I missed this, this weekend. I was outside attacking several trees, one overgrown, and two with lots of dead branches just waiting to fall on me when I least expected it. And I now have an actual easement/alleyway area again, instead of a wild jungle. 
(I was the fetch and carry/run out of the way/yell at impending doom person and a dear friend was the one doing the lion’s share of the work)
My shoulder sympathizes with your shoulder, rjk. Was it your left or your right, btw? I will pray for quick and complete healing for you, and a fast return to normal. So you can come back here for me to meet you in person, and more importantly so you can take proper care of Zy.
