Good Virus Scanner?

I’m looking for a new virus scanner for my desktops and servers. I’m currently using McAfee Viruscan, but it’s a little bit too consumery for my tastes (they sell it at CostCo, fer Christ’s sake!).

So I’m looking for a good, professional, expert-level virus scanning package that doesn’t assume I’m an idiot, doesn’t consume half my RAM and CPU time while it’s doing nothing, and of course, works effectively. Any recommendations?

I like Norton. There is a professional version. I think the regular one is also sold at Costco!

AVG Antivirus is good, and you can’t beat the price.

For a commercial product, I’d go with Trend Micro’s OfficeScan.

I actually ended up going with NOD32 (www.nod32.com.au) - it works great, and was fairly cheap too.
