I’ve never done the Narrows but have paddled with people that have. I am a huge consumer of paddle porn.
My kayak did the narrows before I owned it. 
I heard that one of the first guys to do the Green narrows later killed his mother and got a life sentence. Don’t know his name but if he got life in NC he’s probably about 10 miles from me at NC Central prison.
