Goodbye! Adieu! Auf Widersehen! Sayonara!

I’m off (everyone knew that already.) Love ya! It’s been a great decade-anna-half. I’ve met some very good friends here. (Plus some real jerks.)

New job, no time, I’ll miss ya. This has been a great bunch, and I’ve learned a lot.

I’m only putting this in so no one needs to wonder, “Say, whatever happened to ol’ wossname? Hope he didn’t have an accident.” Nah!

Say goodnight, Gracie!

Goodnight, Gracie.

See you when you come back.

Where’s the new job, North Korea?

And, you are who?

No “a bientot”? What have you got against the French?

Take care, and be welcome when you return.
Ĝis la reviiiiiiido!

Cheap Trick did it better.

Abyssinia!

:musical_note:…In all the old familiar places…:musical_note:

You take that back!

You can always stop by for five minutes on the weekend, ya know.

Haste ye back.

Been fun knowing you. I’d hate to wonder what kind of job leaves no time for the SDMB (says the father of 10 with a full-time job at which he occasionally works overtime who reads and posts) but I wish you all the best.

Seriously. And like, why make a big deal about it? It’s a message board; it’s here when you want it and not here when you don’t. Why do people feel the need to make some grandiose exit, as if they’ll never have two seconds at some point in the future to drop in and see what’s going on?

People here worry when a long timer suddenly drops out of sight with no warning.

See ya homeboy. Do stop back on occasion.

This.
This sort of post is different from the “U suck and i am flouncing out of the SDMB in a dramatic fashion” post.

Bye! I guess.

He must be going to one of those far places, like Ohio, without internet access.

Remember not to use the local ice.

Ah, yes, that does make sense, thanks.
