Burpo - Drago’s fine. He’s a sensitive dog, and the only one who seems to notice that Annie didn’t come home with me.
ThelmaLou - Annie was a red Doberman. She was a rescue who’d had a very hard-knock life before I acquired her, so she was named after Annie, the cartoon red-head. She was 7 then, and 10 now. So short a time to be loved, after all the misery she had.
The most expensive “free” dog I had. In year and a half years, she cost probably $5K in vet bills, with her binge eating and other issues. But she was loved, and that’s what counts.
