Didn’t IE8 require a serious fix here recently for people who still have XP?

Chrome also doesn’t work too well with my workplace (college campus) server, so to check those emails, I have to use IE.
I use chrome as a default browser, it still has some trouble with old/microsoft sites but a lot less than it had initially, I believe is still at beta, isnt it?, I think in a few months more they will have corrected those lasts things too.
Whats wrong with firefox? You can install a plugin called “IE Tab” and open tabs that will use the IE rendering engine. So lets say you have 10 tabs open and you open tab 11 for your schools intranet page. Oh no, it looks terrible and its trying to install an activex appliction. Click on IETab and youre golden.
