I’ve been trying to use Google Earth and it always leaves me frustrated.
I’ve got panning down pretty good. But turning around is awkward. If I’m going down the road and want to go back in the opposite direction. Isn’t there a better way than making a big circle with the mouse? It’s so cumbersome. Is there a keystroke to flip around and go in the opposite direction?
Traveling down a road is extremely frustrating. I finally figured out that I could use the scroll wheel to zoom back. Then, there’s two arrows (forward, back) in the middle of the screen. I can click the arrow and go forward a few feet. Click and go a few feet. It takes 20 clicks to go one block! Each time I click, the whole image goes out of focus for several seconds and then sharpens. It makes me almost nauseous after a while.
Everybody says Google Earth is the greatest thing since sliced bread. There’s got to be a way to travel down a road without clicking a thousand times.
Can someone help?
here’s a map I’m working with. Note that it starts funny, turned to the side. You have to pan left to get oriented on the road. I try to think of this like I was in a car driving. Obviously, you want to be ointed straight down the road as you travel.

I haven’t used him before. He does make it easier to move. But, it’s more of a jumping action. I was hoping there was a way to make it travel down (scroll?) the road.
