This is just completely awesome. They have up 'til the '70s at the moment.

  1. There seems to a limit of only 200 images for a given search. Urk.

  2. Lot’s of alternate versions of some classic pictures. E.g., that Sophia Loren black lacy thing. (But only BW.)

  3. Why did someone think taking a picture of Steve McQueen’s bare butt was good idea?

While that is indeed awesome, it looks like they got at least one caption wrong.

It says, “Fans arriving for baseball game”, when the stadium (my beloved late lamented Cleveland Municipal Stadium) is clearly behind the crowd as they’re facing away and walking away from it.

I’m not saying that the Indians didn’t play some stinkers at the old Stadium and that the group isn’t justified in leaving. :smiley:
