BTW, there’s a snowflake icon on the Youtube video players right now.

So you click Play, then hit the snowflake, and it makes it snow on the video.
Kinda neat

If you type ‘Let it Snow’ into google you get a snow effect too.

Mind you, I’m kind of surprised there’s a Mordor Ln in my town. Middle of a subdivision with no other strange-looking names that I see. Mind you, it’s a North Dallas suburb, one does not walk anywhere around here.

I’m getting directions from a Rivendell school in VA to Mordor Lane in Severn, MD. Right by Mordor Lane is Aragorn Court, Baggins Road, and Gollum Road, so I’m guessing the city planners were nerds.

Not sure if this has been posted either but try entering Los Angeles, CA for point A and Tokyo, Japan for B. Look at step 15 (and 28)

I tried this, but apparently left the “walking directions” option checked. The kayak step didn’t show up until step 214, and that got me only to Hawaii. Step 237 got me to Japan. Step 239 is “239. Turn left at 県道263号線”.

I hope there’s room in the kayak for an Japanese-English phrase book. Can I get one in Hawaii?

Huh. Turns out Frodo and Sam could’ve gotten to Mordor in 90 minutes if they’d used public transportation. Those movies shouldn’t have been nearly as long as they were.
