Yeah, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with journalists NOT writing up the most sensationalistic angles first and asking questions later. My first reaction to the little snippet of story I read was GAY LOVE TRIANGLE MURDER! because of the duh factor. Republican men in their thirties who are “roommates,” but apparently financially successful? Right. I didn’t immediately post that because there’s always a chance that something else happened, like a fantasy football league meeting got out of control.
For whatever it’s worth, as a followup to my post, here’s a site with a screen capture of that Google link.

One of the sub-links is even more speculative.

And it says, “Its still unclear who shot who, but I do know that his [Ralph Gonzalez’] own roommate didn’t know he was gay.”
How is that possible?!
[QUOTE=OneCentStamp]
I feel as if the entire Republican Party in this country (yes, even including the everyday ones I know in real life) is pulling an elaborate joke on the rest of us. The punchline: they’re all gay.

Spoiler - those of you who haven’t read pTerry’s Monstrous Regiment might not want to read.
Just like everyone in the Army turned out to be female, eh?
Bush and Cheney alone in the oval office - let’s not go there. :eek:

Guess those ‘five polyps’ removed last month were really Karl Rove’s finger-holds…
Here’s some more background on the lives of the dead men, but there’s still no word on who killed who, etc.

Maybe the man-size safe in Cheney’s office contains all his secret files…and his secret boy toys! :eek: :eek:
Gonzalez’ funeral will be tomorrow in Miami. Police still have released no more information about the case.
Drake’s relatives say it was likely that he was the shooter.
Update: Police have determined it was Jason Drake (a former U.S. Marine) who shot Gonzalez, Abrami, and himself. They still don’t know why.
Hmmmm . . . Now some are connecting this story to Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC). See here and here.

There was blood and a single gunshot
but just who shot who?
–Barry Manilow, “Copacabana”
Yeah, I know: I just admitted to being able to quote Barry Manilow. Excuse me while I go hang my head in embarrassment.

Let me just say that, IME, Howie Klein of DownWithTyranny! is a bit quick to repeat juicy stuff without checking to see if it’s reliable. (Can’t tell you a thing about Blue NC.) So take anything he says with the appropriate bag of salt.

More on same. (Makes no pretense of being an unbiased site.)
Relevant DU thread. (Likewise.)
[QUOTE=OneCentStamp]
I’m guessing the cause of death will turn out to be “strangulation with feather boa.”

Man, that’s cold. Tacky. Funny as hell. I wish I’d posted it. ![]()
I admit I haven’t read all the links, but it seems we’ve gotten this far without anyone blaming it on the Clintons. That’s a milestone in itself.
