I love the snippet of sound created for this South Park talent show featuring the Goth Kids. Can anyone recommend some real-life bands that sound similar?
Despite the band being called “Goth Kids” that song is really New-Wave. So you’d be wanting to look for 80s New Wave music. Try Synthpop and New Wave Music.

I confess that I can’t hear the clip on my works computer, but I would like to recommend Siouxsie & the Banshees, for her unique unearthly voice, combined with pretty-much archetypal goth guitar sound.
The clip is basically straight synthpop/new romantic type stuff.
It vaguely reminded me of Ladytron, I guess.
