Govenor Scott Walker (R) WI

Yeah, I wonder why the economist would publish something like this…

Call me if you get to town, I’d like to sic my dog on you.

Lol Phatzo.

Coonery bafoonery…

Goodness gracious, that almost sounds like someone grasping at straws.

If private sector companies are struck, there’s usually competitors that supply equivalent products. If public sector employees stop working people are screwed. That’s too much power.

You must want 6 year olds to work 15 hour shifts in coal mines.

I apologize. I thought he won the election by a large margin. I also thought Wiaconsin was a state not just Milwaukee.

Five.

Wait, that’s those same public sector employees who are sucking off the taxpayer’s teat, and are denigrated as lazy good-for-nothings, and do not deserve reasonable pay and benefits? I would have thought that if they stopped working you wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference.

Are you counting something important?

Power to the sheeple.

unrepentant racists I think.

I wouldn’t call it important. Amusing? Yes, I’d call it amusing.

Nah, even the freaking Economist notices when someone like Walker is an asshole.

BTW, the bargaining rights are still the stumbling block that Walker is still trying to eliminate instead of compromising like the unions already did.

Nations before tried to live with privatized or volunteer fire departments and others, after seeing how ineficient and wastful it was, we got the current system. Similar histories come also from the school systems that we have.

Of course Walker decided not to demonize the firefighter and police unions and that continues to show that yes, he is an asshole for pretending to claim that the demonizing that he is doing is just related to a budget issue.

Limiting the legal ability of public sector workers to strike has nothing whatsoever to do with limiting their ability to bargain collectively.

Welcome new member Phatzo. Do you think Obama is the Messiah too? I’m just trying to keep track here.

I also don’t remember saying any of that stuff. Privatizing some functions might be a good idea, but certainly not most of it. I would also say from personal observation that quite a few public employees do have pretty cake jobs, but not all.

I just think that public unions give them too much power. They can shut down the government, and help elect their own bosses. As far as the cops and firefighters - don’t bite off more than you can chew. Save them for later.

I know that all you need is N-41, but isn’t it cheating to ask a leading question to get your buzzword bingo card filled out?

Collective bargaining among public employees goes against the public interest.
