Governor Scott Walker just sealed his own fate

“Koch”: But, uh, what we were thinking about the crowds was, uh, planting some trouble makers.

Walker: You know the only problem with - cause we thought about that - the problem or my only gut reaction to that would be that right now the the law makers I’ve talked to have just completely had it with them. The public is not really fond of this. The teachers union did some polling and did some polling on this and found out that the public turned on them as soon as they closed school down for a couple days. The guys we got left are largely from out of state and I keep dismissing it in all my press conferences, saying ehh they’re mostly from out of state. ** My only fear would be that if there was a ruckus cause that would scare the public into thinking, maybe the Governor’s got to settle to avoid causing all these problems. **Whereas I’ve said, hey, we can handle this, people can protest.

The beauty of it is, how long have politicians trotted out a school teacher in front of the public and lauded the great works they do? Then they all talk of how underpaid teachers are for the selfless works they do. They talk of teachers using their own money for supplies .
But all the time, the Repubs wanted to gut their rights to a union and to drop their wages.
The starve the beast plan has been in effect for quite a while. It has been faked often . Create a deficit and then claim we can not afford anything. All public services and government workers should be broomed. We can not afford them. Besides they are all lousy workers and way overpaid.
The real aim is for all workers to make less money. If they are well paid, that means they are taking money that rightfully belongs to the wealthy overlords who actually are responsible for all good, all progress and all production.

Ummm… I guess I haven’t either. Can you post a link? All google shows is some Texas Alumni drive.

Can we quit with the moronic talk of how the Democratic Senators are “subverting democracy”? They’re not. At worst, they’re subverting the rules of procedure of the Wisconsin Senate.

The CSEU (Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions) launched a series of targeted strikes against certain high profile employers (most notably Rolls Royce and British Aerospace) in an attempt to reduce the length of the working week from 39 hours to 35. In most cases, the resulting work week was 37 hours. While in the past strikes for a lower work week had been often about higher wages - people worked the same number of hours, but were paid at overtime rates for more - this strike very specifically wasn’t for that purpose.

Only reason I know it is that I wrote my Master’s thesis on it. I mentioned it to show that, yet again, Shodan was pretending to be all knowing when in fact he was making things up.

What dictionary defines tyranny as “the will of the majority?”

All mob rule is tyranny.

Any guesses what brothers would get from this rider placed in the anti-union bill ? Walker is a Cochsucker, but I did not think he would do their work in public and so soon. Has he no shame?

That was probably what the “…show you a good time” was all about.

Kinda like unions?

That 20 minutes of tape solidified my support for Scott Walker. There isn’t a thing he said on it that I don’t agree with. I’m glad he is standing firm against the sicknote suckers.

Yes, I can see where you might find sucking-up employee-to-employer behavior from a sitting governor to an out-of-state private citizen and ruminations on the fact that bringing in false-flag agitators was considered to be positive things to support. I understand those poll high with some Republicans.

Here’s the thing…61% of those surveyed considered the “Budget Repair Bill” to be bad law. And I’m pretty sure that’s only grown since that poll was taken. The people of Wisconsin ain’t having it. And there will be political consequences for having tried it.

I can see where him explaining that he wasn’t going to use those tactics because he saw a better alternative is not beneficial to include. You need to stick to the discussion topics that were guided by a false premise instead of his full answers.

I can also see how bussing in people from out of state, handing out fake dr notes, and dem pols running to another state is much more harmful than anything he spoke about.

As the Messiah says, “Elections have consequences”

Bend over Wisconsin.

Assi, what’s the point in referring to Obama as “the Messiah”? Do you personally think he is? Because if you do, you’re the only person I’ve heard of who does.

I think it might be some sort of cult.

Since when do unions pass laws?

The State workers pretty much had the means to give themselves whatever they wanted for the last 30 years. The teachers union being the most aggressive when it came to applying “pressure” to get what they wanted. They prevented laws from being passed, many times. Pretty much the same thing.

It’s really just a petty little thing. I don’t know why you gals get so butthurt over it.

Of course I didn’t assign the name, that would be Farakhan that did that.

This is all complete crap, of course.
