Meh.
I suppose it’s easy to disrespect him for leaving, but I think he simply prefers something else. Congress, in these ultra partisan times, is not an easy job. You spend too much time fighting each other than being a “public servant”. I was talking to my congresswoman and she is a bit discouraged as well.

If you made a list of the real partisan abusers of the system over a decade or two, I think you will find that they didn’t intend to stay. They can’t live with the implications of the govt they promoted, in a system where they are responsible for what they did. Chaffetz, Gowdy, and the whole gang are going to be a very interesting list to check on as they try to get rich off destabilizing our country.
The dems should never forget this.
