It seems there are two types of Qabbalah (actually three):
-
Traditional Jewish Qabbalah, which focuses on the separation between H’ and His Shekhinah, and the value and purpose of the nefesh Yehudi in tikkun olam.
-
Golden Dawn Qabbalah, which takes elements of traditional Jewish Qabbalah and GD-izes them.
-
New Age claptrap.
In view of 1, 2 and 3 are mamzer versions of Qabbalah. (Which makes sense. When was the last a 2 or 3 Qabbalist spoke of tikkun olam? Qabbalah, to them, seems to be involved most significantly with oneself.)
In view of this, is there any way a goy can study and use Qabbalah from the perspective of traditional Judaism? Remember a goy cannot perform the mitzot, which has a central place in Jewish Qabbalah.
