Graduate School USA / USDA Editing courses

Editing courses seem to be few and far between. One that I’ve seen referenced on several occasions is the USDA editing course, now apparently named Graduate School USA.

Does anyone know the Straight Dope on taking courses with this organization? Is this the same course as was started up my Nancy Mulvaney?

One thing I’ve found odd about the Graduate School USA/USDA is that it isn’t a “Graduate School” at all as that term is normally used. They’re a trade school/community college and it seems the highest degree they award is an Associate’s.
