I’m 38 and just had a wisdom tooth come through.
Made me sympathise with my young children even more.
These aren’t wisdom teeth. My wisdom teeth kind of started and then stopped after one had barely crowned. It’s possibly an adult tooth coming through. Yeah I have baby teeth still.

What, are the teeth having a mass rebellion? I was up at 6 in the morning because my lower left wisdom tooth started to hurt. Gr. They’ve gotta come out soon, I guess.
I tried an ice cube, and it was fine for a while. I haven’t any tea handy. At least, I don’t think I do.
If it feels anything like how my erupting wisdom teeth felt, I pity you. Hang in there.
Nerdy aside: Wolverine is far beyond 30. He’s over 100, but doesn’t age normally because of his healing factor.
My wisdom teeth broke through when I was 22. I clearly remember “teething” on popsicle sticks and chopsticks. It hurt like hell to bite down on the wood, yet it felt great at the same time. It was a kind of instinctive thing to do, I guess.
I’m 27 and never got any wisdom teeth.
As for still having baby teeth, I almost was on my way to keeping a few of mine when I was 12. Some of my baby teeth had actually started to grow roots and were somewhat loose, but wouldn’t come out. Chewing on them was very uncomfortable and painful. The dentist ended up yanking 7 reluctant baby teeth.
zelie, have you gone to the dentist and had x-rays to see if there’s adult teeth underneath the baby ones? If so, maybe they can be pulled so your adult teeth can come in more easily.
IIRC–and it’s been a long, long time since I talked with him about it–a friend of mine had three sets of at least some of his teeth–or maybe it was an extra set of wisdom teeth. Freaky-deeky weirdness.

I think I’m on my last milk-tooth. After a while they get fused to the bone so it’s a bit of a tussle to get them out. Having said that there doesn’t seem to be any problem now so maybe it’s all settled down.
