Grand Theft Auto V

I don’t think I could handle that kind of responsibility.

But seriously, I’m playing again now, but I’ll probably get tired of it again at some point. I had heard some rumors of heists finally being implemented. I’ll believe it when I see it.

In other news, how about those hackers and their ferris wheels?

Shit. Sorry. JQBatty2 is the GTA name I’m using. My PS3 logon is JBats2.

I’ll look for that crew.

Anyone here still playing GTA Online? The latest update has given more things to do in Free Mode, and it looks like being an exec in your own criminal enterprise could be handy - I also like the way that hiring on to a Corp is more like posse-ing up in Red Dead Redemption rather than joining a crew (which is more of a permanent decision).

I’d love to find a crew of SDMB’ers to run some heists and Corp missions - I’d be up for designating a few hours as “SDMB GTA” time to try and make it as easy for people to carve out a little gaming time rather than trying to meet up in a scattershot way…

I have GTA5 but really didn’t play it all that much. I keep hearing about problems with cheaters/hackers, but I’m assuming that’s the online portion.

Since I’m on a PC and won’t be getting Red Dead any time soon, and this is the closest thing to that, any recommendations on what to do in GTA5 for someone who has hardly played it that they would find fun (not a slog)???

I download it from Steam and immediately loaded a bunch of trainers (hacks to mess with physics, or play as NPC’s that sort of thing). I haven’t played a single mission and I’ve had tons of fun. The movie making feature is pretty cool. Check out some movies made of GTA V on YouTube, some are pretty damned impressive.

Here’s a random sample.

Just run through the storyline, that’s pretty A-OK in my book. I had a blast playing that game, and never did the online multiplayer thing.
