Let me preface this post by stating that I am not asking for detailed instruction on how to steal a car.
With that said; Are cars with remote starters easier to steal than those without? I’m not talking about happening upon a car that has been remotely started, hopping in and driving off. I am aware that there are security measures built in to the system to guard against this type of thing. It would seem to me though, that if there is system of electronics built into the car that is designed to bypass the need to physically insert a key and turn the ignition, the vehicle would be easier to “hot-wire”. Am I correct?
