Grandfather fights young grandson free of 15 ft anaconda's grasp

The latest installment in the “man vs wild” survival stories, which have always fascinated me for as long as I can recall.

Drat. Too late for an edit. Should’ve clicked all of the margin links for all the goodies. Like the sobering picture of the imprint in the mud left by the dead snake.

I’m confused… If he killed the snake, why is there only an imprint in the mud?

Because he killed the ghost snake! Instead of Boo! Boo! it says Boo-a! Boo-a!
I know, Mangetout, but a heretofore-insignificant old man is, for a day anyhow, a hero. Please let him be one. I may easily ask for the same indulgence some day, on much scantier evidence.

King of snakes meet The King of Soup.

Seriously, I would not be surprised at all if a 15-foot anaconda makes a lot of soup and sandwiches for his family.
