Graphic designers, recommend me a new mouse

My old mouse is starting to get a little cranky, and I didn’t really like it much anyway, so it’s time for a new one. Can anyone recommend a good mouse? I’m particularly looking for one that has good control when doing detail work, like touching up a photo, or trying to hit just that one letter with the cursor in InDesign. I think I really only need two buttons and a scroll wheel, not one of those crazy gamer mouses with more buttons than my keyboard, but feel free to enlighten me if you like those.

And I’m on a Mac, if it makes a difference. Thanks.

Mouse? For graphics work? Are you a masochist?

Get yourself a Wacom tablet. I’ve got one of their Intuos tablets, but the Graphire is also quite decent.

Yeah, that’s something I’ve been thinking about, but I don’t do too much heavy art type work, mostly just page layout. I’ll check those models out, though, thanks.

Be sure to get one without a ball. (If they’re still made.)
