Grasshopper identification - CA Poppy

I was at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in Southern California and saw a grasshopper jump up and do its flying hop and its wings were the same bright orange color as the CA poppies. I saw it land and got close to it until it jumped again and again I saw the bright orange. Since I got close I saw it was a normal dull color except for its wings.

Along the short hike we saw one more jump up with those bright orange wings. Can anyone tell me about this grasshopper? Does it have a common name, Latin name? It seems to be a specific adaption to blend with the bright poppies, but that of course is a guess.

California Orange-Winged Grasshopper, perhaps?

Cool! That looks like the right one. We were joking that it should be the official state insect to go with the “Golden State” theme of bright orange with the girabaldi fish and the CA poppy.
