Impugn, inveigh, lambaste all day, so much obloquy keeps coming my way.

What, oh what did I ever do, to make you feel you must reprove?
Dm Db Gm C F
Your opprobrious words I won’t forget, or at least until I complete the test.
You’ve got a lot of nerve saying these words over an F chord.
For those wanting to sing along I’ll put the vocal notes in parentheses at certain key ::snort:: places.

Off to Cafe Socieeeeetttty!
Hey that’s nice! Mind if I steal that?
Boy did that ever sink like a rolling stone which landed in a lake and stopped rolling. I mean that went down just like a led zeppelin.
::sigh::
Just to explain for anyone wondering, in case it isn’t obvious, I’m studying for the GREs. In the Kaplan test prep book, they recommend learning vocabulary words in groups of synonyms. Thesaurus > Dictionary. So they give you these word groups to memorize. I was having a hard time memorizing them so I put them in a song. I’m gonna try to write songs for each of the groups I have trouble with.
Anyway, I’ll try to make a recording this coming week and post it somewhere. Perhaps that’ll generate at least a comment or 2. (In addition to AP of course. Didn’t want your contribution to go un-acknowledged )
This is either genius, or madness. Or maybe both!
For those of us not up on the whole musical notes thing, is this to the tune of any existing song, or did you write a whole new one?
In either case (and I’m not going to presume to know which), thank you.
It is indeed my own, which unfortunately means there’s no easy way to communicate the melody here, especially to non-musicians. I will try to record it from work this coming week and see if my friend can post it somewhere.
I played it out on the piano with a snappy 4/4. A very interesting chord sequence. Almost show-tunish. Thanks for sharing it, Moe.
