I’ve been involved in game design (as a hobbyist on a volunteer basis, though I’ve worked on online games that still exist) and this loose “let’s do some cool stuff man” aesthetic sounds very familiar. Hearing it from the mouths of the designers of one of my favorite games ever is amazing.
