tripthicket, the movie is Extremities, starring Farrah Fawcett. It’s based on a play by William Mastrosimone. It’s well-made and intense; comparing it to Lifetime flicks does it a disservice, I think.
Yeah, I know. I figured I’d make the joke anyway for the few out there that might not have yet connected the dots.
BTW, just thought of another. Wasn’t there a scene in that movie with Drew Barrymore and Whoopee Goldberg where they had Drew’s BF tied to a chair? I just remember it vaguely.
How could I forget All Tied Up? Zach Galligan plays a player who gets tied up by three women once they find out he’s simultaneously seeing all three of them. Later he ties Teri Hatcher up. And they fall in love! Its a romantic comedy. It’s really really really (add 100 more reallys) bad, but it has bondage from start to finish.
Oh Crap!!! I just noticed Art Vandelay’s post. :smack: oh well.
Sorry if my post implied you weren’t already aware of Mel’s barely closeted masochism. It’s just one of those wierd things I always have to comment on whenever it comes up.
Bible Black and School of Bondage, too.
Mmm, hentai.
Well, if you watch it you’ll understand why health care in America costs an arm and a leg.
I agree with your point. After all, it aired, what, 15 years ago? 20? And yet I remember it (however vaguely) where I do not remember anything that I can without a doubt say I saw on Lifetime. And I did also vaguely remember Farrah being in that movie, but thought I was thinking of The Burning Bed instead.
Don’t think they quite count as ‘something nice for starters’
Okay, point.

Came a little late to this thread, but if anyone is still listening: Annette Benning in the highly underrated In Dreams. Deborah Walley in The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini (very near the end).
Try Bloodsucking Fiends, it was on Hulu last I checked. Really grimy B-movie, but the lead villain is oddly compelling. A lot of bondage, usually with gore though.
My cat also likes to tell me about bondage-y scenes.
Waxwork (1988) has a pretty hot pseudo-consensual (she’s sorta bewitched) bondage scene with Deborah Foreman getting whipped by the Marquis de Sade and begging him not to stop.
From Beyond (1986) has several scenes where Barbara Crampton contemplates bondage and fetish gear, and later finds herself tied up (in a very nonconsensual scene). Also some tentacle-porny stuff throughout.
Hellraiser III (1992) has a scene toward the end with Terry Farrell suspended by the wrists and gagged with an elaborate metal/leather strappy thing.
For the boys: Casino Royale (2006) has Daniel Craig tied naked to a chair and smacked around pretty harshly by Mads Mikkelsen. Ow ow ow ow ow.
Star Trek: First Contact
Borg Queen used bondage on Data.
Surprisingly I couldn’t find a clip of it on YT, but has everyone forgotten Dabney Coleman & Jane Fonda in 9 to 5?!
Early in his career, Stanley Tucci (not my orientation, but I’m trying to be informative) spent a lot of time tied to chairs. For a while, the definition of “art house flick” was a movie where Tucci was tied up and forced to watch Judy Davis get beheaded or shot in the head.
The Notorious Betty Page is worth a look.
Geena Davis in The Long Kiss Goodnight is stripped down to her slip, bra, and panties, bound with rope by her hands and feet to a waterwheel, and repeatedly lowered into ice cold water… (wiki)
Quite the zombie thread! I understand the film version of 50 Shades of Gray might have a few scenes …
And Elijah Wood. Yikes!
I saw this page on FB recently that may be of interest… Redirecting...
