I am not quite sure people are tied up, but there is definitely some D/S action going on in 9 1/2 Weeks and Wild Orchid. I assume there probably is in Another 9 1/2 weeks. At the very least its some kinky stuff going on in those movies.

People are not tied up at all in 9 1/2 Weeks the movie. In the book the protagonist said her hands were ALWAYS tied when she was in private with her lover, and there are descriptions of her being fed while her hands are tied, having her hair brushed while her hands are tied, and being hung on a wall hook for a time. Not a bit of it made it into the movie. I doubt that Fifty Shades will COMPLETELY dispense with the bondage, but I do look for a general watering-down of the book’s kinky fuckery.
My memory of the movie sequel is hazy, but I do not recall it having a hell of a lot to do with anything other than sucking a little money out of the franchise.

True Lies, BTW, was a remake of a '60s film with Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh titled Who Was That Lady? I didn’t make the connection until it got to that point.

Elissa Landi wasn’t tied up, she was just standing there as the other gal danced around her and ran her hands up and down her. It’s actually not quite certain she was touching her, just very close. But Landi was being humiliated in a sexual way, and the name of the dance was given as The Naked Moon. Pretty damned erotic for the time.

Now as to the particulars you requested, in The Borrower, a schlocky horror movie not to be confused with “The Borrowers,” an alien captures a policewoman, strips her of all her clothes, and leaves her bound and gagged in a closet while it goes out in her clothing in disguise. Being an alien, it has no interest in sex.
I’m not much of a bondage/S&M fan, but I loved the scene of, well, I don’t know what to call it. “Voluntary bondage,” maybe. She isn’t restrained in any way. She’s come to the office in a wedding dress, and he (the Spader character) tells her to put her hands on the desk and stay put until he returns. And she does, gleefully, not even moving to visit the ladies’ room.
As I said, not really my thing, but there was something about that scene that stuck with me.
