Still thinking about the other two…
What song does Lenny ask Lisa to play on her guitar during the strike of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant?
What’s the first thing that “goes wrong” at Itchy and Scratchy Land?
Who uses the alias “Muddy Mae Suggins?”
What comic book is “Comic Book Guy” reading right before Springfield is hit with a nuclear missle sent by the French?
Hey everybody, It’s Clayton again. Sorry I havn’t posted lately, I’m in a near net-death state.
Well I’m glad this thread is going so well. I love the questions, keep on posting em’!! I’ll check in again later.
A little bit of trivia:
From what state was the Springfield Elementary moved from brick by brick?
And a little problem w/ the “B-Sharps” episode: When they sing in the church (remember when Ned got paranoid) out in front the sign says “The B-Sharps”. They don’t come up with that name for a while after…
“MMuddy Mae” is Homer’s mom, I forget her real first name.
CBG is reading “Aquaman”, IIRC.
Missouri.
Song: Classical Gas
Muddy Mae: Homer’s Mom
My favorite Comic Book Guy relate quote is when he tries to return the star trek belt and the guy at the store says,
“woah! A fat sarcastic star trek fan, you must be a hit with the ladies!”

“But aquaman, you can’t marry a woman without gills, you’re from two different worlds. Oh, I’ve wasted my life” Boom
Well, from everyone’s responses to this thread, I can see why I find the game fun and challenging. I know less than I thought I did about the Simpsons. But I have to agree about the pictionary party of the game. It’s kind of stupid.
Helicopter Pilot:
“And soon we’ll be making our final approach to Itchy and Scratchy Land, where nothing could possib-LY go wrong.
Possibl-EE go wrong. That’s the first thing that’s gone wrong.”
What episode did creator Matt Groening take his name off of and why?
What is Groening’s answer to the question, “How do you find the time to write and draw a Simpsons episode every week?”

1.) The crossover promotion for “The Critic”. He felt it would give viewers the false idea the two shows were somehow related.
- ) “Get out of my office!”
Good job, Chief Crunch! I thought someone would get the first one. I just didn’t know how soon.
Damn. I wanted to answer questions.
Here are s’more.
What band do Lisa and Hugh avidly follow in Lisa’s Wedding?
In the one where Santa’s Little Helper and his girlfriend have puppies, who does Burns’s fave puppy remind him of?
When Ralph is in the Presidential play, who does he accidentally dress up as? (Who is he actually playing?)
In the episode where Burns is crushing the buildings in his scale model of Springfield (ep where he gets shot), what does he call the Kwikie-Mart?
And what does Burns (we sure have a lot of questions about him!) own shares in, in the episode where he loses his fortune?
Which four characters (including satellite characters) have died?
What band do Lisa and Hugh avidly follow in Lisa’s Wedding?
The Rolling Stones… but not for their music, but for their tireless efforts to save the environment.
4 dead characters:
Frank Grimes “Grimey”
that psychiatrist (can’t think of his name)
Maude Flanders
Bleeding gums murphy
Another Question: In the opening sequence, when Maggie is passed over the scanner at the super market, what does it flash?
hint: it’s not NRA4EVER…

Sigh. Building! Its save old buildings!!
The episode where the family goes to that Cape-Cod-esque town and Lisa tries to overcome geekiness is “Summer of 4’2”, one of my faves.
My favorite Marge line is from it, too, and a good follow-up to some of these previous posts: As Marge pulls out the panty shields, enemas, porn, Old Harper, etc. from Homer’s shopping bag, she pauses and then says, “Homer, whatever you’ve got planned for tonight, count me out.”
Wump, there was also Bea, Grandpa’s girlfriend who died in the episode where he later refurbishes the retirement home with the money she left him.
The psychiatrist (who “died” off camera and no, we never learn why!) was Dr. Marvin Monroe.
And of course…
… Springfield is based on a real city, complete with nuclear power station. Anyone know which one?

Amalgamated Spats and some company that makes Zeppelins, I believe.
What’s the name of the musical Troy McClure stars in?
