Heard this happened in Australia.
Appears Boss of a big factory had everyone working their butts off, 7 days a week to fulfill a contract and the workers decided to jack up, so here’s what happened. Early one morning (still dark) they all turned up as usual only this time, the foreman climbed up into the rafters, tied a rope around himself and hung from a great height. The Boss arrived and saw all the workers were looking up and not doing their jobs, finally looking up himself. Shocked, he asked one of the blokes what the foreman was doing and was told, “He thinks he’s a light bulb.” The Boss was scared he might fall and climbed up to talk with him, only he couldn’t make much sense of it all. So, finally he says, " I think maybe you should take a week off work and see a shrink, don’t come back till the Dr. says you can." With that, the foreman undoes the rope and climbs down followed by the Boss. The foreman collects his lunch box and walks out the main doors, with the Boss watching him go and shaking his head. He turns around to get all the others back to work and sees they all have their lunch boxes and in the mitts and are also heading for the door. “Hey!” He yells, “Where the bloody hell do you think you’re all going?” “Home!” they all reply, “F*cked if we’re working in the dark.”
