Location: An alley in…err, let’s say New York (Marvel NYC, not that it matters).
Rules: One on one. No calling friends, especially best friends that were once incarnations of God’s vengance (I’ll looking at you, Ollie). Other than that, anything goes. The winner is he that incapacititates his opponet first be it by death, maiming, or anything like that.
I don’t claim to know enough about either character to make an educated guess, but just spitballing I’d go with Ollie. Pretty hard to throw with arrows in your shoulder and a glue bomb in your face. The only way I can see Bullseye winning is by sniping Ollie, but I don’t know how good Bullseye is at sneaking nor how good Ollie is at sensing danger. He’s no slouch as a fighter so I suppose he has some instincts.
Now to sit back and watch this thread float like a lead balloon.
Well Bullseye’s power seems to manifest as these days as the ability to kill anyone he wants at any time no matter how ridiculous the ovject he has to hand is. However this is limited by the usual superhero rules on not killing important people easily (although he has killed major characters before).
Green arrow on the other hand is limited to not killing and his powers seem less spectacular but will win in most circumstances anyway, plus I believe he recently died and as such probably is still in his post death invincibility period (if you look carefully in some panels he is flashing slightly and you might catch some strains of upbeat music in the background).
If you ignore the effects of comicbook narrative causality I’d give it to bullseye in the first round.
What I’ve always wondered is, how would the Green Arrow fare ‘gainst the Silver Surfer? The Green Lantern would technically hand ol’ Silvertop his ass, but the Arrow…hell, they’d probably find some mutual enemy to whip. Still, 'twould be fun to watch.
If Ollie gets first shot and either manages a disabling (or better, killing) shot, or has some of his more useful trick arrows at hand (Not sure why he would, though…Speedy seems the only one in the Arrow family using them lately) - glue or handcuffs - he could win this. If Bullseye manages to get a shot, though, the Emerald Archer’s toast.
Bullseye beats the holy hell out of Ollie Queen Green Arrow (who should be dead right now).
But Connor Hawke Green Arrow kicks Bullseye’s ass and sends him hoime crying. Remember, Connor Hawke is the best martial artist in the DCU so he should have no problem with Bullseye.
And Dragon’s still rusty, and has yet to recover his past mojo.
Anyway, Green Arrow beats Bullseyeunless Bullsyeye snipes from ambush. Why? Range. I don’t care how accurately you can fling that paperclip, that multi-hundred pound pull coumpound bow will be able to put arrows through your hands from a few hundred yards away.
So Bullseye switches to a paper airplane, then. You can get some mighty impressive range on one of those. Which still leaves the question of why a person couldn’t just dodge something moving at paper-airplane speeds at a range of hundreds of yards, but we know they can’t, since Bullseye’s aim is infallible, and if someone dodged him, his aim would have failed.
Because, Bulleye will most likely land his shot. However, Green moves out of the way fast enough that it was not fatal, and Bullseye probably went with the first round in his arsenal, ordinary, non-trick bullets. I’ll bet you Green Arrow is wearing Kevlar. It is very likely that Bullseye is also wearing Kevlar.
However, when an arrow meets Kevlar , the arrow wins. (Generally) Beside, maybe we will be lucky and Ollie’s (Green Arrow) arm will be injured, resulting in his hitting Bulleye’s heart, rather than his arm, like that time he accidentally killed that sniper in the back of FLASH #217 through #219.
