The BeanSprout Has Arrived.

Earlier today, my sister, Green Bean, delivered the BeanSprout, more formally known as Arthur Leo.

He weighed in at 8 lbs. 7 oz., with a towering height of 20-3/4". He entered the world at 1:04 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, after about 10 hours of labor (the beginning of which was commemerated in a thread hijack here). He is adorably cute.

Mother, father and baby are doing fine. Uncle Billdo still needs some serious baby-holding lessons, and I don’t think that Spot the WonderPup yet realizes what he’s in for when the BeanSprout comes home on Tuesday.

Obviously, Arthur is a highly intelligent child. He chose a marvelous mother and father, and one of the best uncles around! The lad shows a lot of foresight for his tender age.

Invest in a handful of cloth diapers, Billdo. They make great burp-rags, and will save your suits needless wear and staining.
