what’s the deal with green human feces?
That’s next on my list, after I find out about the deal with zits that have green, yellow or black pus.
Been eating too many vegetables?
Not producing enoug bilirubin?
Froot Loops
For me, green crap usually means I ate too much black licorice. Purple popsicles will do the same thing. No I don’t know why black and purple would make poop green. Yes, I know about bilirubin, thanks.

How about flourescent green poo? If available in the cookie aisle of your favorite grocery store, Mothers cookies have red and blue frosted animal cookies. Eat 10 to 12 of the blue ones. Wait an appropriate amount of time then go to the bathroom. Surprise, surprise!!
Drink a bunch of grape soda to get the same effect. It’s the dye in the food or drink that doesn’t get processed by your digestive tract that’ll make it colorful (green in that case). I’m trying to get an orange color right now.
Lucky Charms did it for me a couple times…
Try Patak’s tandoori paste for a day-glo pink experience
how about yellow poo? in adults (this is apparently common with children)
I bet milo and fuel have the same IP.
Assuming you aren’t drinking a lot of vegetable dye or sipping from the Chicago river on St. Pat’s day, a greenish cast to feces may be an indicator of excessive bile being flushed out of the gall bladder. A day or two with that problem can simply indicate some digestive upset, longer periods may suggest a call to your friendly doctor to make sure something hasn’t gone out of whack.
nope, I just checked and we are not the same person. mrs milo had bright yellow ones recently (along with a lot of weight loss) and we couldnt find much of anything on google except for infants. the doc she saw did not have any comment about the yellows stools specifically.
Bright green feces are often a result of ingesting a lot of something with FD&C Blue #1 coloring.
Why Blue #1 should turn into Green #2, I couldn’t say.
I got this malady after a several day bout with stomach flu. It went away after a day. But it was pretty scary to look at.
thanks for the replies to this. well, everything else held constant, i stopped eating my normal carrot and serving of spinach everyday for some reason, i started taking a supplement called tribulus terrestris, a got a sore throat in one small area in my throat but did not get sick and these were the only things that changed in my diet and life, then immediately i got this really green crap. it lasted for two weeks and has turned to almost totally brown again. i ate my normal spinach two nights ago, a whole bunch and the 2nd crap after that was normal. who knows? the body is a mysterious beast…
this happens to me perioidically. it always lasts for over a week and nothing serious ever happens. i have never seen a doc for this. my blood is normal according to my pre-surgery test about 4 months ago. and i do not eat hardly any dyes in my diet, all natural foods pretty much.
that tribulus might be the culprit…
<sligthly off topic>
one day up at my vaction house in the Adironcacks, actually ym granbparen’ts, I dioscovered I had nothing left to eat but a 32-oz can of B&M baked beans. I’d never had nothing but beans for a meal, and decided to try it.
Note - I didn’t go shopping or go to McDonald’s or something for breakfast, because I was going into town around noontime to get laundry and grocery shopping done with my family.
Good thing we had several cars.
WOW, You people are really SAD!!!
You mean you look in the toilet to see what colour your crap is??
Do you give yourself marks out of 10 for colour , consistency, texture, sticking power etc???
GET A LIFE!!!
I had the idea once of taking a picture of my stool every day, scanning it into the 'puter, and posting it on the Internet along with a menu of what I’d eaten the day before.
Upon further thought, I decided it was a shitty idea.
Ahh but of course! Your wish is my command!
