Green Hornet dies at 82.

Last week, but they just announced it.

I think Kato will be waiting for him.

I thought about that show just yesterday as my wife played the tune “Flight of the Bumblebee” which was used as the theme.

I really liked The Green Hornet (much less campy overall than Batman) and was disappointed when they cancelled it after only one season. :frowning:

I wonder how many people remember Van from Surfside 6 (not to be confused with Hawaiian Eye, DUH! :smack: )*

I was just looking over the cast list for Surfside on IMDB, and holy crap! Three seasons (1960–62), and just about everyone you can think of from that period was a guest star, including pretty much every actor who was ever on Star Trek, right down to the AP colonel and Bela Oxmyx.

RIP, Van.

*After checking, I see he was also in an episode of that series, “Two Million Two Much,” the one I was thinking of. He guest starred along with Barbara Bain. The episode is on YouTube, but the first act is missing for some reason (probably because of copyright issues).

Let’s roll, Kato.

RIP Lone Ranger’s nephew’s son (or the guy that played him)
