Look, oldscratch. We’re on the same side on most environmental issues (though we differ on NAFTA). I don’t know how old you are. Old enough to remember the Reagan administration’s assault on the environment?

Do you really want someone in the mold of Gorton (or perhaps Gorton himself) in charge of the Department of the Interior? Do you really think Bush’s ideas about industry policing itself on pollution are good ones? Have you examined Bush’s record on environmental matters in Texas?

Whatever you may think of Clinton and Gore, their record is far superior to what this nation has seen under the past two Republican administrations.

It’s too late for this election, but I have a feeling that in '04, after four years of Bush and his oil buddies, you may have an entirely different perspective on the difference between Republican and Democratic environmental policies.

The difference is all of my facts can be backed up. I already did this with DITWD. Go ahead, search around, you’ll find plenty of supporting documents. You can bury your head in the sand, but that won’t make a difference. You however, are making shit up in an effort to be “cute”. It’s not working.

Yep. Gore’s is worse. Two quotes from Gore. “The invisible hand has a green thumb” and “Can’t we get the government’s nose out of this business?” in regards to food safety. Yeah, real big difference there. I can dig up some more quotes, but I’m not so inclined.
