In the latest edition of Guitar Player magazine Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac fame states that the impetus for his awesome song Albatross was three simple chord changes played on guitar. They were according to him, B - A -G#m played on the top three strings, with the last two chords being “first inversions.”
Can any Straight Dope Musicians out there explain to me what a first inversion chord construction is and show me how to play this on me beloved guitar?
