Greta Garbo - how many degrees of separation between you?

In honor of the Turner Classic Movies release of a spectacular** Greta Garbo ** DVD set, I ask this inane question:

How many degrees of separation are there between you and Greta Garbo?

In my case, three.

My grandfather was a doctor. That’s one.
One of my grandfather’s patients was the actress Marie Dressler. That’s two.
Marie Dressler starred in *Anna Christie * along with Greta Garbo. That’s three.

How 'bout you? Partial credit if you or someone you know saw Garbo walking on the streets of Manhattan.

I know her niece, Gray Reisfield. So, I guess, one.

P.S. Much to my dismay, I never had a Garbo Sighting, despite working on East 55th Street in the '80s, near her apartment. I even went out at lunch with my special Garbo Gun (a combination telephoto camera and tranquilizer gun).
