Let’s not forget the #1 unforgivable sin: TALK ON YOUR CELLPHONE DURING CHECKOUT! Act like your conversation about some party in the past is more important than the people waiting in line behind you. When the clerk gives you the total, keep talking. When she says it again, say “I heard you the first time.” When she asks you for payment, scream “DON’T RUSH ME.” Then talk forever to go into your purse and get the cash or credit card.
Bring your own pricing gun, and give other shoppers a nice discount on anything that looks a bit overpriced.
It doesn’t have to look too similar to the store’s own discount labels- after all, it’s the thought that counts.
