groin strain - what's the best therapy?

i got a groin strain doing taekwon-do. had it for over 2 weeks now what should i be doing to help it? is it best to stop all exersise until it’s completely healed? or will it just heal in time anyway?

I had one that was mild, and it hung around for about a year, until I finally just did’nt do ANYTHING for about 3 weeks. I didn’t lift anything heavier than 5 lbs., didn’t have sex, and basically just lazed around…But it finally went away.

Deep muscle massage:). Serious. A few years back I had a groin injury (with my hip flexor), and when I had it treated the nurse used a sonogram (?) machine to repair the damaged areas, which was followed by 20 minutes or so of deep muscle massage. I was back playing the next week.

And lotsa rest. But you might want to try working on your girlfriend for that massage…just what the doctor ordered!
