Groom Lake testing facility/leukemia cases

I just attended the funeral of a friend’s father, who died from leukemia complications. He also, we have learned (always suspected but had one of his co-workers confirm) that he worked for a number of years at the test facility at Groom Lake, Nevada (Area 51). This connection me thinking. I know that the families of former Groom Lake workers have sued (unsuccessfully–nat’l. security) the govt. for the facility’s alleged burning of toxic waste in open pits and similar environmental crimes. But I have been unable to find out what the deceased workers died from (other than “inhaling toxic gases”), and if any other workers have come forward with tales of similar illnesses. Can anyone help with research on this?
