Groups Fight Over Fate of 174 Feral Chihuahuas

Feral chihuahuas!! They are like little wolves. Talk about ankle bitters!!

:stuck_out_tongue:

I though this part was funny, where an AC is talking about how they believe the dogs are not adoptable

How is that different from any other Chihuahua. (Kidding!)

Some of the dogs are supposed to be coming up here to a rescue group (if they aren’t pts I mean). The funny thing is, that no matter how nasty the dogs are, there will be a waiting list of people wanting to adopt them.

I know. How dangerous can a Chihuahua be? I understand a pack mentality. Hell most things are more aggressive in a pack. Just adopt them out individually. Sheesh!

Possibly including some Anaconda owners.

I liked this bit:

Sounds like they’re more like Ren from Ren and Stimpy.

Our latest pooch was considered unadoptable – she kept biting the crap out of everybody who came to see her.

Fortunately for the pooch, Mrs. danalan sees that kind of behaviour as both an indication of character and a challenge. The dog rarely bites us anymore – but she still hates strangers. Don’t even try to pet her, she’ll scream like a banshee and try to shred your hand.

No big deal, it’s not like she’s a pit bull – she’s a Japanese Chin, not much bigger than a Chihuahua.

I suspect that if you get these guys out of their pack and into individual homes that they will domesticate. Eventually.

I think they would be terrific watchdogs!

The guy who played J. Peterman on Seinfeld does commercials for our local cable company. He does a bit where he’s talking to a local dog musher and showing her his new lead dog “Pepe”. She says “But it’s a…” He says: “That’s right, Susan, it’s a cha hoo-a hoo-a.” Cracks me up every time I see it. Now back to your thread.

I’d like to see 101 Dalmations recast with these chihuahuas. Aren’t there a couple of cute tykes in it? They would get torn to shreds early.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning…smells like, victory.

I’m sorry, this is the first time I’ve ever done this but

174 Feral Chihuahuas
Best. Band Name. Ever.

::laughs:: Feral Chihuahua vs. Anaconda, round 1! DING!

My bet’s on the snake. And if I had a large constrictor, I’d be asking for one of those little devils too. “Hello, LA Animal Shelter? I’d like a chihuahua, please… No, I don’t care if it’s male or female. I have this large snake that needs feeding, you see…”

Dear God. Packs of feral chihuahuas. There is only one way to describe them: land piranhas. Just one chihuahua is quite capable of terrorising a family (mine), and the thought of a whole pack?!!

Rhum Runner is right: a flamethrower is the only way to deal with them.

Just think we could do a sequel to Willard and Ben but instead of rats we can use these Feral Chihuahuas

I wanna be sedated …

Leaderless flocking behavior.

Excuse me, it is rude to double-post, but I just found this:

Saving the world, one breed of dog at a time.

“Sorry ma’am we can only come if they are full-bred Chihuahuas.”

Good God. How embarassing is that? To be viciously taken down in the prime of your doggy life by a swarming plague of rat-dogs… that’s just sad.

Wait a minute! More than a dozen!?? What the hell is up with that?!! Did they swarm over an unsuspecting mutt like some cartoon horror leaving a few bones here and there and a guard going, “Hmm, I coulda sworn there were three more dogs in that cage…”?? Did they have some of their pack members cause a distraction- maybe do a little song and dance or some TV impersonations- while the others made Spot disappear??

I mean really, WTF is that all about?

I guess we’re just lucky they didn’t organize a jailbreak…
[Bottles of Beer]
99 feral chihuahuas in a pack
99 feral chihuahuas!
take one to the pound and have it put down
98 feral chihuahuas in a pack…

Fairblue, that was hilarious.

MikeG, The band name was terrific too!

Now, don’t underestimate the chihuahua. It’ll widdle on your ankles if you do anything to anger it.

I say take 'em south of Kingsville, Texas and let 'em go.

The feral hogs and javalina/hog crosses will clean 'em out in no time.
