You can get some interesting results - if not a high score or ‘Congratulations’ by putting them in the wrong order.
Don’t think of it in terms of “choosing”. It’s a logic puzzle, one in which you can discover defined relationships between the objects and the ultimate objective. For instance:
It’s easy to discover that the ring (that black circle at the bottom on the right) only needs two turns to max out. Thus, you should activate it as your second to last item.
Once you figure that out, and things like “X needs to put placed before M happens” or “A then B”, it all falls into place.
