I had a very cool day. Exhausting, but cool. Midnight last night I started driving, and around 5:05 (he was late…punk), I met Airman Doors at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. He’s a complete sweetie, just like he is online. (Despite the fact that everyone on the boards thinks he’s an asshole, he really is a good guy!) We drove around, had breakfast at BK (yeah I’m a traitor, your point?), mooed at the cows, and GRRed a lot. Just because it’s such a fun word to say! And I didn’t even run out of gas on the way there! I made it 262 miles on 8 gallons of gas…not bad! (Do you know what a bitch it is to find an open gas station at 3 am in New York?) So eventually we had to leave, because I was silly exhausted. Beyond the point of sanity. On the way home, I got pulled over twice. Once was 80 in a 65 zone, I got a $125 ticket. The cop didn’t go for my boobage. He even asked if I had a radar detecter…ok, if I had a dectecter, would I have been going 80? Stupid punk…grr. The second left me off with a warning (75 in a 65), because I started crying. I was so exhausted, and I was just watching my insurance skyrocket…plus, I think he enjoyed my boobage. (I was wearing a tank top, lol.) Eventually I got to where I couldn’t drive anymore, so I set off to find a cheap motel where I could sleep for a few hours. Motel 6 sucks. The lady was rude, looked at me like I couldn’t afford a room or something (I think it was my big baggy pants…damn stereotypes!), and told me I had to be 21 to rent a room. So I ended up at Comfort Inn. After 15 minutes of fighing with the computer, I finally got a room. And of course, when I got upstairs, it was the room the maid had just started on. So I had to stand outside in the hallway for 10 more minutes waiting for her to finish. I just wanted sleep. So I finally crashed, got about 3 hours of sleep, woke up, got a quick shower (with nasty hotel shampoo…eww), and hit the road again. And 542 miles later, I pulled into my driveway.
Ahhh…it’s good to be home…
