Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Teaser

Gross. [drinks martini]

Ditto.

This is a very small amount of footage and most clips are just milliseconds long, but I thought it looked great.

Based on the exchange between Quill and Drax, plus the resilience/resurrection of Groot, I think we can be hopeful that the characters will experience growth. ;):stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, remember, in the first movie they already showed signs of real character development: both Drax and Rocket listened to other’s arguments, re-assessed their positions and changed their behaviours and goals.

Will there be pelvic sorcery?

Actually, one thing that does worry me about this trailer: They’re re-using the same song that they used for the first one’s trailers. The whole point of “volume 2” is that it’s all different music.

I’m sure they’ll be using different music in the actual soundtrack. But yeah - I’m sure they could have found something new that would still illicit a GOTG response.

Nevermind, having watched the trailer I predict pelvic sorcery will not ensue, you could even say that there are two types of people in the galaxy, those that succumb to pelvic sorcery and those that don’t.

I might need a hug.

New trailer!

Baby Groot is so cute!

Sweet!

Awesome. And Fox on the Run by Sweet is playing the role of vintage semi-forgotten tune!

I am Groot!

Damn I’m excited for this, my kids loved the first one.

I’m in. Do me do me DO ME!

They’re a fun team, and I’ll be happy to just see more of them.

You’re carrying around a nuclear bomb in your backpack. If anybody’s going to have tape, it’s you!

[Nitpick]

Atomic

[/nitpick]

Nope. Not feeling it.

Not sure why not. I’m sure the movie will actually be fun, and the last scene did make me smile, but the rest of the trailer didn’t work for me.

It actually makes me hopeful, since if they didn’t have much to work with, they’d put all the best stuff in the trailer. I remember when I saw the Ghostbusters trailer that I felt like I’d probably just seen everything worth seeing in the movie. I don’t get that feeling with this one.

Though, I would agree that it’s far less magical than the trailer for the original movie.

Which James Gunn says he almost didn’t get to use.

The whole trailer looked awesome. I’m psyched to see this and I wish it weren’t five months away. I honestly don’t want to watch any more trailers so I won’t have anything spoiled for me.
