Please allow me to see my own stupidity and tell me about the Czar chick. All I seem to be able to get is Peters, Ivans, Terribles, Alexanders and that sort of thing. None of that goes with any Shirley I’m familiar with.

I know there was some logic in what I posted, but perhaps I failed at getting it across.
You get points for guessing Molly Ivins is her sister though and that Shirley sang at her funeral. 
Beautiful clues – right level of giveaway and still cryptic – but I don’t know of the gal. That’s likely true of the others I haven’t been able to get.
