Musical genre?
Is the solo artist primarily known for music or something else?
This should have been the second question.
Genre is : Rhythm & Blues
“Is the solo artist primarily known for music or something else?”
Oh oh! This is the question I dreaded.
THE question.
This is gonna open lotta doors.
The answer is: No. Not primarily known for music.
In that case, you shouldn’t count the two yes/no questions I asked. I specifically said:
"If we aren’t restricted to yes/no questions, then please ignore the above. "
So please, we’re up to 13 questions, not 15.
Is the singer a disgraced comedian?
Play an instrument on the LP or just sing?
Other than music, what is the artist known for?
Another guess: Silver Throat: Bill Cosby Sings
Is it an athlete
?
On the album cover, does the singer have a moustache and sombrero on?
You mean as in Silver Throat: Bill Cosby Sings?
Oh, really? That was just a joke question I made up. What are the odds! ![]()
I’m starting to get a bit worried that Baggs might actually be Bill Cosby and is not returning to the thread because I called him a “disgraced comedian”. Now we’ll never find out the answer.
I should give it to Walken cos he was spot on with “disgraced comedian”.
But Siam wins it.
You bagged Bagg’s ass.
Hmm, actually, I’m glad I lost…
Nah, I’ll give it to Walken. He obviously knew who it was.
However, I’m not sure how not obscure this album is. Or isn’t?
No, this isn’t the Miss Universe contest. The winner has been announced and the prize goes to you.
The album itself was a middling hit, and the single from it, “Little Ole Man”–a rambling spoken word routine interspersed with the chorus from Stevie Wonder’s “Uptight”–made #4 on the charts. Which baffles me because I never once heard it on the radio.
Moving to Thread Games.
